A Different Kind of Real Estate Experience.
The Shift Difference
Real estate doesn't have to feel like a transaction. At Shift Residential, it's built on something sturdier: a genuine relationship between the two people leading it, and a belief that the same care should extend to every client who walks through the door.
Shift wasn't built to be louder. It was built to be better — more thoughtful, more personal, and far less stressful than the industry default.
Today, we're a growing team of like-minded professionals who believe real estate should feel less like a transaction and more like trusted advice.
Our Guiding Principles.
Our Philosophy.
We built Shift because we believe there's a better way to practice real estate — one where the people doing the work actually like each other, and it shows.
We look for team members who lead with curiosity instead of ego, who'd rather ask a good question than deliver a scripted pitch, and who understand that trust is built in the small moments, not the closing table.
If you're the kind of person who wants clients to feel like people and colleagues to feel like family, you'll feel at home here.
That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's the standard we hold each other to.
Where it all started.
It started with one conversation.
“Jer, I want to do this differently. And I really want to have fun at this again. But I’m not doing it without you. So... are you in?”
He was.
Kelly Caldwell and Jeremiah Tamburrini had already been through a lot together by then — the career highs and the harder years, the kids and the dogs, the golf outings, plenty of laughter, and the moments when life simply got a little too heavy.
That kind of history doesn't just make you friends. It makes you the kind of people who show up for each other without being asked.
So when Kelly picked up the phone that day, it wasn't really a business pitch — it was a decision two friends had already been circling for a while, finally said out loud.
Shift Residential is what happens when you stop asking how real estate is normally done, and start asking how you'd actually want to do it.
This is where it all started. Everything since has just been proof that the answer was right.
